This year on June 13th, Clay and I celebrated 5 years of marriage. We were planning on going on an overnight, but Henry still needs me at night so we put it off for a few months. We celebrated with a wonderful dinner at Chez Billy in DC and small gifts. I got clay a pocketknife with a wooden handle with his initials on it. I got a pair of diamond-ish studs. 🙂

Someone, George ended up with TONS of toys in his crib. It made me laugh when I went in to get him after his nap. Hilarious!
Clay is such a great daddy. His boys love him so–and they got to show it off! We got a yummy breakfast at Union Market and had a relaxing day. Clay got lots of cuddles!
Our dear friend Misty is having a baby boy in August! We are so thrilled to add another boy to the mix. Esther, Meredith and I threw her a shower here at our house. It went so well and the weather was perfect! It was baseball themed  (Texas rangers, specifically). We had BBQ and make your own hot fudge sundaes. And the big sister even came to help open presents!

George loves when he has pockets. He keeps his matchbox cars in them and thinks that is just about as cool as it gets.
This past weekend we took a trip up to West Virginia to hang out at Misty and Cory’s farm house. It was a great trip–my first to see the FH. It looks great up there. The house is really coming along and the land is simply gorgeous. We spent a lazy afternoon floating on the river. Â Although, Henry was NOT a fan, and spent the entire tube ride nursing (boobs for the win!).
I didn’t take very many pictures because there is no cell service so I didn’t have my phone on me most of the time. I did get some when we went to the springs in Berkeley Springs. The kids had a blast playing in the water and splashing.
Henry started crawling at 8.5 months. He is EVERYWHERE now. He loves to grab cords and crawl to mommy and ask to be held. Although, he calls me ‘baba’ which is also what he calls nursing. I guess I am one and the same! 🙂
