Friday Favs: O Christmas Tree

on December 7, 2012

We are a Christmas family. And Clay and I both from Christmas families. It ain’t no joke around here.
In fact, Clay and I met in January and he still had his Christmas tree up. And it was a damn fine specimen. Lets just say it made a good impression.

Last year we got our tree on the Friday after Thanksgiving. I was UBER pregnant and we knew we had to get the tree before George arrived. We drove around looking for an open tree stand with a great sense of urgency, but nothing. So we ended up at the home depot at 8 o clock at night. And we found a really awesome tree for an even better price. We tied it to the yar-cedes and drove it home–terrified it was going to shoot off the car and cause a horrific accident. Thankfully, we all made it home in one piece.

We had such a good expereince last year, we went with the Home Depot again this year. And this time, took our 1 year old at a respectable hour. He loved it! George and Clay hugged the tree to make sure it was ours (a Williams family tradition).

George finds his tree.

And here it is all decorated! Yay! (And Clay is laughing at Christmas Vacation–its our tradition to watch that while we decorate).
