Its hard to be a baby

Spring

on April 2, 2012

We have started to see the signs of spring around here. One of them being the knee high grass that sprung up in our yard–seemingly overnight. Luckily, my dad came down this weekend with a mower! I did the front and Clay did the back yard.

Dad also brought a power sprayer. I really wish I had taken before and after pictures of the deck and patio, he got them so clean! We also switched our kitchen and basement fridges, since the one in the basement was nicer. Busy weekend! Not to mention that Clay drove back and forth from NC in one day to get our new renter settled into the townhouse AND we are dog-sitting two sweet doggies. Whew!

George rode in a convertible car seat for the first time as well. Clay accidentally took the car seat base with him to NC so Dad got a seat for his car that goes up from 5 to 65 pounds so he will be able to use it for a long time. He looked like such a big boy–but my pics didn’t come out because it was so dark.

Sunday afternoon we walked to a friends house and hung out on their porch and then came home and watched the start of season 2 of Game of Thrones…yay! I’m reading the third book now and Clay the fifth. We are big fans. It was a great weekend.

Power washing is the best! Instant gratification! I’m waiting to borrow a neighbor’s to clean patio and anything else!
And George … I’m quite jealous of Deb and Gene! Great pictures!
